". . . shows lovely purity of fruit and (particularly for this fruit-defined vintage) impressive underlying terroir. The bouquet offers up notes of cherry, pomegranate, a touch of game, earth, vinesmoke, a touch of graphite and the aforementioned stems. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and displays good depth, with a fair bit of tannin still to resolve, a solid core, bright acids, and good length and grip on the tangy finish. This will be a lovely vintage for this wine."
