"Medium-deep color. One of the most compelling noses of the night; actually displays a penetrating Rhone-like character. Scents recall bacon fat, cherry syrup, and cinnamon. Deep, dark flavors in the mouth; more what we expect from Rochioli. This Pinot is rich, dense, powerful, and juicy with a lot alcohol showing. Not much subtlety here! The acidity is very good, leading toward a very long, rich finish."
