In contrast to the '91 Genaivrières which has arrived on the front edge of its maturity, this is still clearly on the way up displaying an expressive nose of earth, dark fruit and spice notes that complement perfectly the exceptionally concentrated and still moderately structured medium full flavors that are intense, sweet and mouth coating, particularly on the impressively long finish. This is still youthful and vibrant and should reward another 5 to 7 years in the cellar before drinking well over another decade. Terrific juice at this level.
