"(78% merlot and the rest a 50/50 blend of the two cabernets) Deep ruby-purple. Complex, enticing aromas of blackcurrant, plums, coffee, dark chocolate and underbrush. Dense, sweet and lush, with a silky mouth feel to the rich, ripe black fruit and mocha flavors. Finishes long and pure, with well above average intensity and depth for a wine simply labelled Bordeaux This is much riper and ultimately much better than last year's version."
