"Opaque purple-colored, with extremely low acidity and high alcohol, the unctuous, creamy-textured, full-bodied 1995 Chateauneuf du Pape Truffiere possesses gobs of black-cherry and cassis fruit in its bouquet, thick, juicy, almost sweet (from ripeness, not sugar) flavors, and a plump, hedonistic finish."
