" I find this to be a curious if very attractive wine in that even though this is also very ripe, the much more animale and more deeply pitched aromas are actually more elegant than those of the normally more refined Champeaux. The body however is as one would expect with its significantly bigger and richer flavors that trade power and muscle for elegance and finesse on the punchy, velvety and slightly warm finish. This is a big wine by the Leclerc standards but one that is balanced and delicious."
