"Next door to Block 5, just different clones and planted on its own roots. Very deep crimson. Very, very rich, deep and full. Green herbal nose and an exciting, chewy end."

A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
