"This is quite different aromatically with a much more sauvage character to the otherwise brooding and extremely primary nose of dark berry fruit and earth-suffused nose. This is quite a masculine wine with its robust and big-bodied flavors that ooze dry extract that confers a textured mouth feel to the incredibly powerful and immensely long finish that is seriously structured. This is a magnificent example of the appellation but not one to buy unless you have ample amounts of patience."
