"Tyrell's 2009 Eitelsbacher Karthauserhofberg Riesling Spatlese (there is only a single bottling of this name) smells of fresh lime, lingonberry, honeysuckle, and a surprising whiff of petrol. Loaded with generous, juicy, ripe melon to which citrus, subtle salinity and a tart berry edge lend animation and invigoration while persistent floral perfume enhances a sense of wafting delicacy, this should remain delightful for at least the next 15 years, and hopefully longer."
