"Medium garnet-brick.Evolved, high-quality claret nose: stewed plums, allspice, leather, oolong tea and warm fig. Medium to full body and medium+ acid suggesting a warm but not hot year and perhaps right bank, medium to firm velvety tannins point to a good vintage. Complex and very, very long, layered finish. About as good as it gets."

Home to three of Bordeaux's five First Growths, Pauillac is the Left Bank benchmark for powerful, structured Cabernet Sauvignon. Its wines are famed for cassis, cedar and graphite notes and exceptional aging potential.
