"Moderately saturated ruby-red. Aromas of violet, mocha, woodsmoke and leather. Fat, rich, dense and chocolatey, but without quite the intensity, precision or floral lift of the regular estate wine in 2001. This has a deeper pitch to its fruit. Finishes with lovely sweetness and supple tannins."
