"Anise, spice and intense Gevrey earth notes all combine with wild, pungent pinot fruit. Sweet, dense and almost thick and while this is quite concentrated and tannic, it appears that the gentler pressing has modulated what can sometimes be excessively tannic wines from this vineyard. To be sure, there is plenty of structure present but its thoroughly ripe with plenty of supporting flesh and body."
