This is aromatically more complex than the old vines cuvée as the dense and ripe dark berry fruit is laced with earth, iron and sauvage nuances. There is good energy to the rich, supple and velvety medium-bodied flavors that are supported by relatively fine tannins that are well-integrated on the delicious finish that offers excellent length. I like the mouth feel as well as the overall sense of harmony. Lovely and very Corbeaux.
