This is wonderfully elegant with its very fresh, cool and densely fruited aromas of red currant and plum that give way to firm and almost aggressively mineral-infused flavors brimming with dry extract on the seductively textured but well-structured finish that coats the palate. A classic Baudes that is elegant but youthfully austere and tautly muscled. Moderate patience required as this will need at least a decade of cellar time.
