Latour 2015, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Pauillac, Bordeaux

"The 2015 Latour is a blend of 97.1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.6% Merlot, and 0.3% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet in color, it needs a little swirling to uncover the latent scents of black and red currant preserves, followed by notes of juicy blackberries, baked plums, and incense, plus touches of graphite and violets. The medium-bodied palate is completely filled with energetic black fruit and exotic spice layers, framed by super-ripe, firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing with a muscular burst of pure black fruit and lingering mineral sparks." 99 Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, TheWineIndependent.com

"Still holding on to its depth of color. The wine already shows some development with its truffle, oyster shell, cassis, Asian spice, dark red fruits and cherry tones. This is a Latour of elegance, purity of fruit and silky texture over power that is coupled with layers of concentrated fruits, and the structure to age for generations." 99 Jeff Leve, TheWineCellarInsider.com

"Latour's 2015 Pauillac is gorgeous. Deep, pliant and super-expressive, the 2015 is utterly captivating. Silky tannins wrap around a core of fruit as this radiant, inviting wine shows off its charms. There is a level of purity to the 2015 that is remarkable. In the past, the Pauillac has at times been a bit wild. In 2015, it is the brightness of the fruit that makes the deepest impression." 98+ Antonio Galloni, Vinous
