"Today, there is just a touch of inkiness to its aromatic blend of cassis, hung game, black raspberries, coffee, damp soil tones, herbs and smoky overtones. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and slightly “compact” stylistically, with a good core of fruit, melted tannins and a long, focused and slightly chunky finish. This is a very good effort. . ."
