"The colour is very deep garnet-brick. Complex, evolved aromas of warm cassis, tobacco, leather, cinnamon and spice emerge with just a touch of hung meat. After a few minutes some menthol and smoky bacon scents come through. The medium bodied palate is very elegant with nice concentration of fruit supported by medium to high acidity and a medium level of silt-textured tannins. Long in the finish. . ."
