Lot #2. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grands Echézeaux 1988

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 94 AM.
No bricking at all with a supremely elegant nose of dried roses, spice and Oriental tea followed by dense, complex and powerful flavors. The remaining tannins are ripe and balanced and remain well integrated on the phenomenally long finish. This is arguably the best DRC Grands Echézeaux of the decade. Allen Meadows, Oct 2001
Provenance: The French American Collection.
Notes: Very lightly stained and scuffed label, sign of slight past seepage, #00545.
Estimate: $900
