Lot #30. Clerc Milon 2002

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 91 NM.
"A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc and it was such a small crop that Philippe Dhalluin could not fill the vat. The 2002 has an airy, lifted floral bouquet that frankly puts both the 2000 and 2001 in the shade. Lovely definition, joyful ripe brambly red berry fruit mingling with bay and dried leaves – what is there not to love? The palate is medium-bodied with a succulent, fleshy opening laden with spicy red fruit, tobacco and white pepper, leading to a cohesive, punchy finish. Very impressive for the vintage – so fresh!" Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Jan 2014
Provenance: The Maquereau Cellar
Notes: Nicked, lightly scuffed, lightly damp stained label.
