Lot #1. Bernard Moreau Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot 2012

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 94 JG.
"Alex Moreau makes one of my absolute favorite renditions of Morgeot, and his 2012 is a marvelous synthesis of intensity and elegance. The great nose jumps from the glass in a blend of pear, lemon oil, a very complex base of minerality, citrus zest, white flowers and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and nascently complex, with bottomless depth at the core, brisk acids, laser-like focus and outstanding length and grip on the stunning young finish. This is a baby Bâtard-Montrachet in 2012!" John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2013, Issue #48
Provenance: The Chevalier Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $130
