Lot #236. Emmanuel Rouget Vosne-Romanée Cros Parantoux 1989

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 95-97 NM.
"A deep garnet/brick hue. A spell-binding nose that grabs you by the nostrils. Quite hedonistic, alcoholic, meaty, Musigny-esque with a touch of lemongrass and smoke emerging. The palate is very concentrated with a silky smooth Vosne texture. This is a sumptuous, lascivious wine. Raspberry, mushroom, damsons. Very long length and astounding persistency. A touch of Camembert cheese on the aftertaste. A panoply of taste. Wonderful." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, May 2006
Provenance: The Moineau Cellar
Notes: 2.5cm, lightly scuffed capsule, slight sign of old seepage.
