"Very good deep red. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, and root beer. Excellent purity and intensity of flavor; spicy and bracing, with an exotic note of dark chocolate. Finishes with excellent cut and a firm tannic spine. Perhaps the best vintage yet for this bottling chez Gros, and the first time this wine has been at the same level of concentration as the Vosne."
