Lot #339. Petrus 1982

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Region: France, Bordeaux, Pomerol.
Score: 20 JR.
“Huge jump from 1998 on the nose. Big, smoky cloud with lots of raw meat character. Very fat and enveloping, like a great big fat flapping lady's embrace . . . . Almost evanescent. Lots of raw meat and some violets. Quite marked acidity. Still very, very fine tannins on the finish. Exotic. The smell of an old leather handbag/purse. Very, very long. Bouquet kept opening out in the glass. Edge of burnt sugar. Much more delicate than you might think.” JancisRobinson.com, Oct 5 2005 (Tasted Mar 11 2004)
Provenance: The Éclat Collection
Notes: Base neck, very lightly scuffed and very lightly wine stained capsule, bin soiled, lightly wine stained, nicked and lightly scuffed label.
