Lot #453. Domaine Ponsot (Domaine des Chézeaux) Griotte-Chambertin 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 94-96 NM.
"Ah, now this is a real Grand Cru! It has a wonderful, lively nose of dark cherries, dark chocolate, citrus lemon – orange peel perhaps. It just rushes up from the glass to greet your senses and utterly seduce them with its charms. The palate is very pure with a certain ravishing quality, an open, ebullient wine with supple, saturated tannins, vibrant acidity and great nervosité towards the minerally finish." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Nov 2008
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $170
