Lot #82. Domaine Dujac Echézeaux 1999

Description: Consists of 7 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 92-94 AM.
Perhaps the single finest Echézeaux I tasted this trip, this wine has it all. Explosive fruit, staggering complexity and profoundly long, spicy, velvety flavors, this wine clearly demonstrates, without fear of contradiction, that Echézeaux can produce wines worthy of grand cru stature. The fact that it so rarely does is not an excuse for those who make lesser examples. Reference standard Echézeaux. Drink from 2006 to 2015. Allen Meadows, Jan 01, 2001
Provenance: The Sea Cliff Cellar
Notes: 2cm or better, 1 scuffed and nicked label, 1 lightly scuffed label.
