94 NM. "The 2014 La Tour Blanche has a fragrant bouquet that gently unfolds to offer lovely white peach, honeysuckle and jasmine aromas, later just a hint of grilled walnuts. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite tensile and mineral-driven, fresh and poised with a lightly spiced, lemongrass tinged finish. This is a beautifully made La Tour Blanche that will give two or three decades of drinking pleasure. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting." Vinous, Mar 2018 |
