Lot #87. Marc Rougeot-Dupin Richebourg 1995

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 94 JG.
"This is a negociant with which I have no prior experience, but this wine showed really quite well. I cannot guess where they may have sourced this wine, but they did well. The nose is deep and classic Richebourg, albeit a bit more developed than many of these 1995s, offering up a mélange of plums, strawberries, duck, a bit of hazelnut, chocolate, Vosne spices, forest floor and cedary wood. On the palate the wine is medium-full, elegant and beautifully structured, with solid depth at the core, well-integrated tannins, and excellent length, breed and complexity. This is a 1995 Richebourg which is well worth keeping an eye out for." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Jul 2003
Notes: Very lightly scuffed, very lightly bin soiled, handwritten notation, nicked capsule, very lightly scuffed, very lightly bin soiled, very lightly torn, nicked label.
