Lot #5. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Cuvée Duvault-Blochet 2006

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 93-95 NM.
"A barrel sample with Aubert de Villaine. This has a really beautiful unassuming nose with fine delineation, hints of blueberry, raspberry leaf and limestone. The palate displays very fine tannins, not a grippy, demonstrative wine by any mean, no; this is more about precision and femininity with that trait of blueberry reappearing on the pert finish. The bottom line: just a delicious Pinot Noir to savour. Lucky those that chance upon this. Tasted June 2008." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Nov 2008
Provenance: The Mont Blanc Cellar
Notes: Lightly marked, lightly scuffed label, #02041.
